      The Isola Comancino is the sole island in Lake Como, situated near the western shore. One arrives by small boat and there are no menus at the Locanda. They simply bring the food until you plead for mercy! It is part of the group of Ristoranti di Buon Ricordo, and Matthew and Wendy visited in 1997 with a group of American guests. They pleaded for mercy and the plate.
