      Famous for Carciofi fritti (fried artichokes), this casual Osteria actually has a menu filled with fried fish and vegetables, reminiscent of the cuisine of the Roman Jewish population that lived in this section of the city. Although it wasn’t an official “stage”, Matthew ended up in the kitchen, filming the technique of the lightly fried fare.
